作為紀(jì)錄片來說，是一部完成度與情感渲染力很出色的作品，尤其通過巧妙的蒙太奇將伯格曼/烏曼的電影和人生穿插并置重疊，仿佛假面一般模糊了現(xiàn)實與夢境的界限，暈染出愛情與生活的真相，聽著麗芙緩緩又動情的講述，我是真的相信即便歲月摧殘了感情的相守相依，到頭來折磨讓相愛之人走向分離的必然歸宿，麗芙那一顆顆動情的眼淚仍是對曾有過最美好時光的追憶與祝福，正如那湛藍(lán)的眼眸深處藏著法羅島海灘滾滾而來又逝去的風(fēng)浪，將他們初遇年輕的我倆，你的害羞
(劇透) 一個七十多歲的老婆婆，在鏡頭面前向全世界講述她跟藝術(shù)家的愛情故事：她是著名挪威女演員莉芙烏曼(Liv Ullmann)，藝術(shù)家是已故的瑞典電影大師英瑪褒曼。女演員和導(dǎo)演，不是順理成章也是近水樓臺。她是他的御用女主角、靈感女神，在拍攝電影《假面》 (Persona)的時候燃起愛火。那時候，雙方皆已婚，那是不倫之戀。他們拋開元配在Faro小島上相宿相棲，不結(jié)婚但育有一女，但愛火最終也炙熱傷人。
褒曼的控制慾和嫉妒心甚強，他要成為烏曼戲裡戲外的導(dǎo)演，逼使她除了演戲的時候、以及逢週三的「假期」外
