The relationship between Demote and Connor Brady is in trouble. After leaving home without warning, Connor (played by Peter Young) dropped out of college and returned to his seaside town. Demote (played by James Dolan) and his gay son worked together to deal with this situation and took him to an entertainment venue to play all night. Conor believes that his father's frustration in communication is related to his sexual orientation, while Dermot strives to express his feelings about his failure as a father.
