The fourth season of the popular detective drama "McDonald's and McDonald's" based on Buzz has already started filming; Dodds "stars Tara Gouvia and British Academy Film Award winner Jason Watkins. Composed of three feature length films (3 x120), the first story features guest actors including Toby Stephens (Lost in Space), singer/songwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice of the Child), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapan (Disaster), Dipo Ola (Landscape), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory's Girl), and Ace Bhatti (Mission). In the first movie, McDonald and Dodd begin investigating the shooting of a middle-aged woman in a rented apartment. The killer has deleted all clues about her identity, but DNA shows that she disappeared 35 years ago. Where has she been all these years? Who are you with? The cast of this series returns to Claire Skinner (Outnumbers) as Chief Superintendent Ormond and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders) as DC Goldie. Bhavik C. Pankhania has joined the ranks of DC Lee. The series was commissioned by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones to be produced by ITV and will be produced by Joe Shrub. The executive producers are Robert Murphy, Damien Timmer, and Charlotte Webb. The first movie was written by Robert Murphy and directed by Khurrum M. Sultan.
