Henry and Ann are a young couple who have reached a secret agreement to execute it at midnight. It involves hiding on a passenger ship and leaving their beloved dog Laddy behind, which they consider a bittersweet act. They seem a bit concerned about their agreement. On the ship, a young man named Tom Pryor seemed to be a bit too fond of drinking. He found the voyage a bit strange because everyone he spoke to didn't seem to remember who they were going to meet or where they were going. The only exception is the elderly socialite Mrs. Cliveden Banks, who is going to meet her husband Bonnie. The only other passengers on board were Catholic pastor William Duke, wealthy businessman Mr. Ringley, whom Tom had worked for, and an uneducated working-class old woman named Mrs. Miggett. The only crew member is crew member Skby. Tom finally deciphered the nature of their travels faster than most people before. Before they reach their final destination, each of them will meet a person named Thompson to discuss their lives. Henry and Ann also want to meet with Thompson to reach their agreement, but this may not be possible as they are not officially listed on the passenger list.
