A television series produced to recreate the disaster of the May 1937 German airship Hindenburg fire. The Hindenburg is the world's largest airship and a symbol of Germany's increasing commercial and military strength. Initially designed to use non flammable helium as a lifting gas, the US embargo on helium exports forced the use of hydrogen. In 1937, when the ship docked in New Jersey, it caught fire and burned in front of the world, which proved to be catastrophic. The drama tells the tragic story of some passengers on the Hindenburg, including an airship designer, Gestapo agents, and fleeing Jews. The Hindenburg spacecraft, designed by Germans, ranks among the most spectacular passenger spacecraft in history with a length of 804 feet. Its beautiful exterior lines, coupled with top-notch internal equipment, resemble a luxurious aerial cruise ship, and being able to board this ship can be said to be the ultimate luxury of one's life. However, a major disaster that occurred in 1937 completely ended the golden age of spacecraft. The Hindenburg exploded during its landing, and the raging flames burned the entire ship to ashes. The story tells of a German made Hindenburg spacecraft carrying various types of people flying to New York in 1939. When it arrived over New York, it exploded, causing a great tragedy in history.
