What's outside the wall? Is it hell? Are outside's people really all died? Am I be protected really well as the king and the noble who held power said? Why do people hate each other who never truly meet and understand? These are the natural questions that the anime brings to the audience after watching. And that's why it can't be approved, kind of like George Orwell's 1984.

第一話“地鳴”并沒有對上一季做出銜接，而是直接講述地鳴已經(jīng)發(fā)生。開頭先用第一季艾倫在樹下打瞌睡作為開頭來鋪墊“地鳴”已經(jīng)發(fā)生，之后就是主角團順利來到港口找到飛機，值得稱贊的是動畫沒有對漫畫的內(nèi)容進行魔改，只是做了一點細節(jié)上的潤色，配樂也是使用前幾季的神曲，總體跟漫畫如出一轍，但整個動畫的氛圍感變得更好，例如CS在巨人腳下的兄弟
