This TV series is set in 1941 and tells the story of Canada's policies towards Japanese heritage citizens during World War II. It tells the story of a middle-class family forced to leave Vancouver for a successful boating business after the Pearl Harbor explosion and move to a depressed mining town in the interior of British Columbia.
