根據(jù)《隊列之末》第四集的臺詞來看，無論片名《Parade's End》翻譯成《一戰(zhàn)往事》還是《隊列之末》都是不正確的。按照Christopher說的話，Parade應(yīng)是炫示；虛飾；夸耀；標(biāo)榜之意，而他是這種精神最最后一人，即為Parade's End。由于不能貼圖，原文如下：

General:Well,there are no more parades for that regiment.It held out to the last man,but you were him.
將軍讓他divorce that unfaithful woman，可是Christopher當(dāng)然做不到，他在第一集中就說過他堅守一夫一妻制，只有野蠻人才會那么對待妻子（指離婚）。
綜上所述，這劇應(yīng)該就是圍繞Christopher Tiejens這個堅定信條不和妻子離婚的男人的復(fù)雜感情問題寫的吧。最后他到底還是傳承這種Parade，還是選擇自己隨心所欲跟Valentine在一起就不知道了。
其實故事發(fā)生到現(xiàn)在，Christopher并不是對Sylvia一點(diǎn)感覺和一點(diǎn)感情都沒有的，這一集兩人關(guān)系稍稍緩…
