四個(gè)月前看了 《Visible: Out on Television》已經(jīng)非常感動(dòng)，而這部專注在trasn community的紀(jì)錄片，更加specific也更nuanced.
片子里提到80%的美國(guó)人在真實(shí)生活中都不認(rèn)識(shí)任何一個(gè)跨性別者。我自己也是在24歲第一份工作的時(shí)候，才認(rèn)識(shí)了第一個(gè)trans woman同事，對(duì)這個(gè)群體開始有了更多的了解。
在教育缺位的現(xiàn)實(shí)情況下，媒體上的representation really matters. 它是人們唯一的point of reference, the only template for understanding. 當(dāng)你是少數(shù)群體的一員時(shí)
We always have to be really skeptical when a few people are elevated and the majority of people are still struggling.
I think that makes it especially important for us to be pushing for actual material redistribution. Otherwise, all we’re doing is elevating some people into the sphere of the powerful and not in any way working to disrupt the systems that exclude most trans peole from material survival.
這個(gè)翻譯讓我一開始以為是講好萊塢跨性別演員的遭遇處境之類的片子，結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)主要是講美國(guó)熒幕上跨性別角色的形象變化，"Trans Lives on Screen"也許應(yīng)該換種譯法。
人無法成為他所沒見過的人。如果跨性別青少年在熒幕上看到的跨性別角色都被塑造成變態(tài)殺人魔、性工作者、暴力犯罪受害者，他們要如何找到希望？人們要如何通過臆想、扭曲的跨性別形象去認(rèn)識(shí)真實(shí)的跨性別者？不是說沒有這樣的跨性別者，但如果熒幕上只有這種形象，就是一種赤裸裸的偏見，就是一種強(qiáng)加的污名
1.在提到《巴黎在燃燒》的時(shí)候，受訪者有一句話讓我印象很深，“從外面看進(jìn)來”，作為非LGBTQ人群的我們永遠(yuǎn)無法了解他們最真實(shí)的想法以及在這個(gè)社會(huì)里最真實(shí)的感受…前幾天在感情坎坷時(shí)和兩個(gè)朋友聊天時(shí)說到“對(duì)男人真的好失望，好想趕緊瘦下來當(dāng)個(gè)帥T”，說完他倆都沉默了，那一刻的沉默讓我意識(shí)到也許冒犯和傷害了他們，而這種不友好的冒失行為在根本上還是歸結(jié)為自己沒有完全用平等的態(tài)度去看待這個(gè)群體…
2.任何一個(gè)群體逐漸被認(rèn)同、接受的一個(gè)關(guān)鍵都在于，社會(huì)中讓一般民眾望其項(xiàng)背的優(yōu)秀人物的出現(xiàn)
