片中是以angle為視角的女性視角故事。片中反映了當(dāng)時女性的社會地位。
其一，電影中反映了當(dāng)時的街上會有許多女性做妓女以此謀生。而當(dāng)時卻又因為社會政策問題，當(dāng)妓女是罪行，是要坐牢的。
而且有一個細(xì)節(jié)是angle一開始是為了給母親治病才會萌生出當(dāng)妓女賺錢的想法。
可是在法庭審理這個案件的時候angle根本就無法辯護(hù)，法官不回去聽她的說辭。所以可看出當(dāng)時女性的社會地位是較為低下的。
其二是angle在最后求gino不要離開自己的時候是整個人趴在地上，抱著gino的腿求的?；蛟S有部分原因是默片的緣故，所以肢體動作語言也會相對浮夸一點(diǎn)，以此達(dá)到超越語言畫面令觀眾理解的目的。
可是angle匍匐在地祈求愛人的動作真的很虐心。
而由gino畫的angle的畫像被人修改成一幅大師的作品，還放在教堂里受萬人敬仰與angle現(xiàn)實當(dāng)中匍匐在地祈求愛人的畫面形成了一個強(qiáng)而有力的對比。
對比當(dāng)時的女性地位，畫中的angle就可以受人贊美注目，而畫外面的angle卻受盡磨難。
而畫畫的gino是身無分文，為了生計廉價地把畫賣出去

An angel is not necessarily pure or perfect. The most, no, the only, significant thing, should be her heart.
It’s the first time I took 1 hour 41 minutes without any interruption to watch a movie, a silent movie. And, it is totally worth it.
Without sound, without fantastic modern technologies, nor dazzling colors decors, in general, nothing to abstract me from the basic story telling. Every subtle change on the countenance of the actor and actress, what the director wanted to tell on a particular shot, “enter her world and follow the path of the movie”, it was definitely an a little tiring (at some points, painful) but still enjoyable course.
About the story and characters
Angela, a self-redeemed angel.

電影課第二次screening的內(nèi)容。由專門研究默片的教授親自演奏配樂，這種體驗真的很神奇。再次感慨電影創(chuàng)作的魅力。寫這種分析一開始很起勁，但寫著寫著還是會累，畢竟不是作業(yè)。
