Adrian Paci told the story of the Column in 2013, a video installation specifically designed for his exhibition "Lives in Transit" at Jeu de Pame, accompanied by marble columns in Jardin des Tuileries on the right side of the entrance. This column reflects the speed at which supply and demand are being met in today's economy. As an excuse for a poetic journey between the East and the West, this work/video showcases the transformation of a piece of marble from being extracted from a quarry to undergoing a long sea transportation process, in which the sculptor transforms it into a Romanesque cylinder. With this sculpture and his videos, Adrian Pasi successfully turned his reflection on the global contemporary world into a fairy tale. This magazine showcased its first installation in Paris before embarking on another trip.
