Inspired by Stephanie Wood's memoir "Fake," this TV series tells the story of Bertie Bell (Asher Keddie), a magazine writer who believes she met the successful pastor Joe Bert (David Wenham) on a dating app and found the perfect partner. But as the relationship intensified, Bertie was torn between Joe's attraction and her boyfriend not being all the instincts he had made her believe in.
