《饑餓》這是看過(guò)的第二步關(guān)于餓死的電影。本來(lái)按照非正常程序，名單里應(yīng)該有《1942》，相信餓死這個(gè)主題是馮小剛無(wú)法回避和繞得過(guò)的，也正是因?yàn)檫@個(gè)原因，它也就胎死腹中，無(wú)緣得見(jiàn)了。但是劉震云的原著倒是看了，精練短暫，擊打有力。另外一部詳細(xì)描寫(xiě)?zhàn)I死前所有細(xì)節(jié)的就是《into the wild》。導(dǎo)演基本都用紀(jì)錄片的方式，用手術(shù)刀的手法，仔細(xì)的解剖瀕死的每個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)，纖毫畢現(xiàn)，森森逼人。
《饑餓》臨近結(jié)尾的時(shí)候也有白羽毛在飛，不過(guò)與《阿甘正傳》不同的是，后者是靈魂的飛揚(yáng)，前者是魂靈的墜落。死亡如此的可怕，可為什么人們還是抵死不悔呢？哪只能是有些東西比死亡還可怕。導(dǎo)演已經(jīng)在中間的橋段，來(lái)為如此的結(jié)局作出了解釋和鋪陳。一個(gè)超長(zhǎng)的鏡頭，把靈魂的掙扎和痛苦在神父面前做出了表白。死亡并不是唯一的結(jié)果，神父勸解說(shuō)可以談判。鮑比·桑茲的臉在香煙的霧氣后深深的凝視，再一個(gè)長(zhǎng)鏡頭，童年的死亡記憶與最終的選擇一起彌漫了起來(lái)，像哪驢子一樣進(jìn)退不得，不如死。
饑餓的結(jié)果是恐怖，心臟萎縮2/3，胃液把胃腐蝕，骨頭刺穿皮膚，每次的呼吸都像火焰…

Turner prize-winning artist Steve McQueen's debut feature Hunger is a work of astonishing boldness and beauty. Based on the controversial history of Northern Ireland, The Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA). The film dramatizing the event of the 1981 Hunger Strike, set in Belfast's infamous Maze Prison, depicts the events that happened in the so-called "prison" six weeks prior to Bobby Sands' (Michael Fassbender) death.
The film noir started off with the statement explain the background of the Hunger Strike protest very briefly as following:
'Northern Ireland, 1981, 2187 people have been killed in "the Troubles" since 1969. The British Government has withdrawn the political status of all paramilitary prisoners. Irish Republicans in the Maze Prison are on a “blanket” and "no wash" protest.'

為一個(gè)你等不到的美好明天去死，是偉大的。
類(lèi)似這樣為了某種政治自由舍身取義的故事，對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)最不陌生了。從小到大都能在各種宣傳品上看到某共產(chǎn)黨員在酷刑暴政下面不改色、英勇就義，死前還會(huì)高呼：“共產(chǎn)主義萬(wàn)歲！”等等?？磻虻娜酥划?dāng)那是戲，看完就過(guò)，即便你知道這是真實(shí)存在的事實(shí)，也依舊無(wú)法感同身受。
史蒂夫的電影卻總能用很客觀的視角讓你感同身受，讓你不由自主會(huì)自動(dòng)代入角色，和主人公一起直面殘酷的現(xiàn)實(shí)、淋漓的鮮血。他會(huì)讓你多角度去體驗(yàn)、思考，不斷深入電影的主題本身。非常了不起。
