After Geri Halliwell, Leona Lewis, Rita Ora, Melanie Brown, Anastasia, and Scherzinger themselves served as guest judges to fill the vacancy left by Kelly Rowland, Nicole Scherzing was confirmed as the fourth permanent judge. Demote O'Leary will return to ITV as the host, while Caroline Flake and O'Leary Muse will return to ITV2 to host Xtra Factor.
