It was not a pleasant movie.
As I was going out of the cinema, I was looking at the crowd, looking at all the different expressions on people's faces.
There were so many couples sitting there, some old ones as well.
I wonder how many of them would really understand what was the movie talking about.
And then I saw this really old couple sitting there quietly, the wife with tears in her eyes.
As if she was saying, oh yes, haven't we been there before..
I think it would be fair to say that most revolutions are not successful, it has to be.But I'm sure the ones which are successful, they bring back thousands of new lives.
This was just a trivial unseccessful revolution which happened to be happening on the revolutionary road. It may mean nothing to some, but it really made think.

廚房的做愛場景，溫斯萊特的一聲聲Frank讓我出戲想起了《陸軍野戰(zhàn)醫(yī)院》，現(xiàn)在想想”野戰(zhàn)“這個翻譯真得很傳神。但是這不能影響《革命之路》在我心中帶動的美感。這個星球上總有那么多浮躁的人，他們對老百姓的家常和生活化的臺詞嗤之以鼻，覺得這是無聊，浪費時間，不能賺錢，找不到樂子，每到做電影看電影的時候就想high，想裝逼，想給力，不槍戰(zhàn)不視效不弄十個假結(jié)尾就難受得要死。這部電影就是反擊這種論斷的最有力武器之一。
我們就像門德斯這樣，帶著一個編劇平平凡凡地寫個劇本，再帶著一個攝影老頭踏踏實實地拍個電影，不也是很好的么？可是這恰恰是個矛盾。這個電影一點都不平凡，不踏實，編導(dǎo)們做到了化腐朽為神奇，他們發(fā)現(xiàn)了日常對話中的戲劇性，就像伯格曼的《婚姻生活》和楊德昌的《一一》那樣，故事的底子毫無吸引力，人物的性格沒有任何特殊的地方，門德斯把它們捏在一起，讓演員遵循合適的節(jié)奏和力度把故事表演出來，做出一部讓人一開始看就停不下來的電影?？墒俏覀兡?？生活本身就是平凡的，平凡到讓人乏味。上班時候被上司罵著

其實本沒打開看"Revolutionary Road", 因為不是Leonardo DiCaprio或Kate Winslet的擁躉(更不是Titanic fan), 不過在網(wǎng)上見到不少人都說此片極好看, 感覺非常強烈等等, 於是在好幾齣想看的電影中, 都是先看了這齣.
電影改編自Richard Yates的同名小說, 導(dǎo)演是Sam Mendes(也是Winslet的丈夫), 前作有"American Beauty"(1999)及"Road to Perdition"(2002)等.
電影tagline是: How do you break free without breaking apart?
兩個人的愛情, 完美無瑕又纏綿只會是最初的數(shù)個年頭. 有多少伴侶可以天天都那麼恩愛無憂? 故事背景是五十年代的美國涅狄格州(Connecticut), April(Kate Winslet)是個舞臺劇演員, 和Frank(Leonardo DiCaprio)邂逅, 然後結(jié)婚, 之後有兩個孩子. 生活磨人, 妻子在舞臺上沒有滿意的成績, 丈夫在一家大公司做一個普通的小職員, 亦是他父親當年工作數(shù)十年的公司. 每天營營役役, 生活變得越來越?jīng)]有意義.
