Zahra is a 27 year old Iranian football enthusiast who is a passionate supporter of Persepolis, one of Tehran's largest football teams. However, due to an unwritten law in Iran, women are prohibited from participating in football matches at stadiums. Despite facing gender based discrimination, Zahra decided to challenge the status quo by disguising herself as a man and participating in live competitions. Surprisingly, her actions became a catalyst for the national movement against gender inequality. Zara's story went viral on social media, attracting media attention and allowing other young women to speak out. This documentary tells the story of Zahra's journey as a symbol of resistance against oppressive cultural norms, allowing us to intimately witness the challenges faced by Iranian women in their struggle for equal rights.
