Several intern nurses decided to work with some doctors at a medical station in the rainforest, which has a few hours of flight time from the town of Catamaco, Mexico. When they flew from Katamaco to the clinic (which actually only had a few cabins and almost no equipment), one of their three planes had to crash due to engine failure. It crashed somewhere in the jungle, causing serious injuries to passengers. The next day, an attempt was made to save the lives of passengers (including nurses and doctors), although their chances seemed small. Almost no medicine was available, and all the supplies they brought were on the crashed plane. When they first arrived at the crash site, they were stolen by local drug traffickers. In the afternoon, they decided to take the injured to a nearby village where the runway was long enough for the California Air Rescue Team's Lille jet to take them to a clinic in the United States. The journey there is not only very complicated (one of the injured may die at any time), but it may also be futile: due to recent anti drug operations, planes are not allowed to fly after dark, so the air rescue team cannot obtain permission to carry out the mission. Dr. Daniel Perrin set off for Catamarco to persuade the authorities to approve the flight, while others attempted to reach the runway before dawn. It has been broadcasted at the Zhengda Theater.
