In the Mojave Desert, Olga and his sister Mira run a gas station, lunch counter and car camp. In 24 hours, Olga has to deal with Myra's desire to go to the town dance with a cad, George's accidental appearance, an old boyfriend whose behavior has never been doubted, and two women who recently divorced in Renault.
