James Robertson bought a painting depicting witches burned to death at the stake, one of whom bears a striking resemblance to his wife Chris. Chris is gradually replaced by the character of the witch in the painting, and collaborates with two other reincarnated witches to plan James' death, as he is proven to be the descendant of the person responsible for the witch's fate.
