Captain Kopenick is a true story that can only take place in Germany, where the authority of uniforms is unquestionably upheld. In 1906, an unknown Tilsiter shoemaker named Wilhelm Voigt (1849-1922) purchased second-hand uniforms for Prussian infantry captains. Wearing this, he went to Kopenik district and ordered a team of guards to obey his command. Then, he announced that the city hall was subject to military law, ordered the arrest of the mayor and the finance minister, and confiscated all funds from the national treasury. In this version, it is 4000 German marks, a considerable amount. Voigt's orders were not questioned and he escaped punishment. When Voith was finally caught, the German people believed that Voith's hoax was a hoax, exposing the grandiosity of small bureaucrats. Although Voith's motive was clearly illegal economic gain, he stood out from this incident and became a folk hero. This movie is adapted from the stage of the original event;
