According to the original script by director Lee Sales and actors Francis Pope and George Russo, "The Vote" is set in Hoxton, East London, where all three grew up. Our story tells of George and Sophie, who are saving money to spend their first vacation together. The deposit has been paid, and they still have two weeks to pay the outstanding balance of ￡ 2000. Sophie entrusted her vacation savings to George and was enthusiastic about settling debts with the travel agency. The only problem is that Sophie doesn't know, George is penniless. George attempted to raise cash, but in vain, he used Sophie's holiday money to fund a misjudgment transaction.
