This documentary, directed by Te Arepa Kahi (Mount Zion), tells the story of the iconic, chart drawn New Zealand song Poi E of Patea Maori Club. Poi E was conceived by Dalvanius Prime and brought to life by Patea residents who were devastated by the economic hardships of the Malden era. It captured and transformed New Zealand culture.
