Nash is a shrewd and lecherous police inspector (played by Don Johnson) who has seen scenes of fighting crime on the streets of San Francisco when driving around in a 70 yard yellow Plymouth Hemi Barracuda car. He is a typical super policeman, always winning in the end. Unfortunately, his interpersonal relationship still has many shortcomings. He has two ex wives, a 16 year old daughter who needs a lot of supervision, and a father who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. He is often driven out of a nursing home and comes to see him.
